What is pointillism?

Pointillism (also knowns as stippling) is the process of creating an image out of dots. In Malinda Rene’s work each drawing of endangered animals is done one dot at a time. This is a process that takes months of work for each drawing. Check out this video to get a glimpse into what goes on in the studio.
